We do not provide psychological evaluations for these reasons.

We do not offer treatment for active suicidal crisis or other psychiatric emergencies (please call or text 988 if you are in crisis). We also do not offer treatments for acute and severe mental illnesses that require extensive support.

We do not offer controlled substance treatments without an in-person appointment (frequency of in-person visits depends on state and federal laws).

We accept major Hawaii commercial insurance plans and out-of-state PPO insurance plans (out-of-state PPO plans require verification. We cannot accept any out-of-state HMO plans).

We are not able to accept ‘Ohana Health Plan, ‘Ohana Health Plan CCS, or individuals enrolled in Medicare traditional or Advantage plans.

Our providers are able to prescribe psychiatric medications that are clinically indicated.
Some medications require in-person appointments. The practice strictly limits the prescription of benzodiazepines.

In-person appointments are available upon request. Our office is located in Honolulu.

We utilize a secure, HIPAA-compliant, platform to deliver 2-way audio-visual tele-health appointments. After an appointment is scheduled, you will receive a link via text and email for the appointment. You can access the appointment via a smartphone, laptop, or a desktop with Internet capability. We strongly advise using WiFi connection.
